On August 18, 2025, in the morning, Dr. Gla Chanesd Srisukho paid a visit to support his brother, Dr. Gain Niratorn Srisukho, during the launch of the Digital Pregnancy Record project initiated by Health Region 3 (Phichit, Kamphaeng Phet, Uthai Thani, Chainat, and Nakhon Sawan).
Dr. Gain Niratorn Srisukho currently serves as an obstetrician-gynecologist at Phichit Hospital, the provincial hospital, and possesses strong IT skills. He has been appointed as the Deputy Director of the Bureau of Digital Health, playing a vital role in creating policies that link healthcare data across the country. As an obstetrician and with a wife (Ms. Eye Sathida Srisukho) who is a nurse specializing in obstetrics and currently pursuing a master’s degree in public health, they collaboratively work with the Ministry of Public Health and various networks to develop the digital pregnancy record system. This initiative allows expectant mothers to receive more effective monitoring of their prenatal care, as well as implementing a system to remotely oversee the health of their newborns. This project serves as a pilot that will expand to other health regions.
Dr. Gla came to congratulate Dr. Gain on the successful launch of the project, which was well-received by a network of doctors, nurses, public health academics, and officials from the Ministry of Public Health who are actively engaged in the field. They gathered to lay the groundwork for various sub-districts, districts, and provinces.
During the event, they received kindness from the faculty at the Phichit Provincial Health Office and Phichit Hospital, particularly from Dr. Aoj. Theerawat Rukjit, an internist who currently serves as the Deputy Director of Phichit Hospital for primary care. Dr. Theerawat has previously shown great kindness by being a compassionate mentor when Dr. Gla was an intern at Phichit Hospital, guiding him through challenging cases in internal medicine with patience and dedication, thereby instilling a sense of responsibility by exemplifying a high standard for younger generations of physicians.
This heartfelt gathering not only celebrated professional achievements but also highlighted the invaluable bonds of support and mentorship within the medical community. It reflects the essence of compassion and commitment to the well-being of fellow human beings.
