Meet Sir Dot and Lady Dottie at ScMc Bangkok
A welcome is the beginning of getting to know someone. At ScMc in Silom 9, Bangkok, two elephant siblings give that idea a friendly face: Sir Dot, known in Thai as โอบอ้อม, and Lady Dottie, known as ไหมแพร. Created to represent the welcoming team and Product Specialist team, they introduce the people, family connections and values behind ScMc.
Meet the siblings at a glance
- Sir Dot and Lady Dottie represent the welcoming team and Product Specialist team.
- Their coordinated outfits connect contemporary Thai hospitality with the family’s tailoring story.
- Their message reflects Mindfulness, Quality, Kindness and Unity.
Two characters with thoughtful details
Their coordinated outfits bring a tailoring reference into a contemporary Thai welcome. The details help tell their story before the first words are spoken.
Sir Dot
Sir Dot wears an ivory tailored jacket, deep green trousers and black loafers.
Lady Dottie
Lady Dottie pairs her ivory jacket with a green skirt, a green hair bow and ivory flats finished with brown bows.
The care behind a tailored garment
Part of the inspiration comes from Grandmother Amporn Tancharoen, a dressmaker in old Bangkok. Tailoring offers a way to think about attention: noticing differences, listening carefully and considering the person in front of you.
In the family’s story, this craft becomes a metaphor for individual attention. Medical care still depends on appropriate assessment and advice for each person; the tailoring theme makes no promise about treatment outcomes.
A family connection from Phichit to Bangkok
ScMc’s story connects with the Srisukho family in Phichit, including surgeon Dr Pattanat Srisukho and obstetrician and gynaecologist Dr Chanwalee Srisukho. Their son, Dr Chanesd Srisukho, founded ScMc.
The mascots offer an approachable way to share that family connection within the Bangkok setting, bringing a sense of continuity to a place shaped for the present.
Mindfulness, Quality, Kindness and Unity
Four values guide the characters’ message: Mindfulness, Quality, Kindness and Unity, expressed in Thai as สติ คุณภาพ ไมตรี สามัคคี.
Through Sir Dot and Lady Dottie, these values become a simple introduction to the team’s intentions and the way it hopes to welcome visitors.
Mindfulness
Listening with attention.
Quality
Care with details.
Kindness
A courteous, respectful welcome.
Unity
People working together.

A short film in loving memory
The siblings’ short film uses creative storytelling and AI-assisted animation to explore these family connections. Original photographs remain static. The animated scenes are artistic interpretations rather than historical footage.
The film remembers Grandmother Amporn and her beloved white Thai cat, Kum Lai, both of whom have passed away. Its dedication reads:
In loving memory of Grandmother Amporn and her beloved cat, Kum Lai. Forever in our hearts.
