Dr. Chanesd Srisukho, the founder of SCMC, has long been inspired by the story of “Nai Lert” (Phraya Bhakdinoraseth), a legendary Bangkok businessman and philanthropist. Nai Lert was a pioneering real estate owner who built his empire firmly upon the Buddhist principles of the “Four Brahmaviharas” (loving-kindness, compassion, empathetic joy, and equanimity).
Today, this profound legacy is carried forward by the Nai Lert Academy, a premier institute for etiquette and hospitality, and through the ventures managed by his heirs, including the AMAN Nai Lert Bangkok hotel, Lert Samantao restaurant, Nai Lert Park Heritage Home, and numerous other prestigious establishments.

With gracious permission from the museum and hotel management, Dr. Chanesd has had the privilege of visiting the Nai Lert Park Heritage Home on multiple occasions. Recognized as the true epitome of traditional and modern Thai aristocracy, the estate has welcomed royalty and global leaders throughout its history. The philosophy and timeless elegance of this estate served as a core inspiration for the architectural design of SCMC’s South Wing (S2) at Silom 9.
